Newton Circus in Singapore is an open-air food court, called a Hawker Centre. Open every night of the week until around 11pm is sells a range of cuisine including Singaporean, Malaysian, Chinese and a selection of other Asian cuisine. Newton Circus is open to 4am every night of the week so great for a late night dinner.

The specialty at Newton Circus is fresh seafood. The hawkers have the seafood on display sitting on ice. You pay for the seafood by the kilogram. Be prepared to bargain for the price. Although most hawkers have the prices displayed you can ask for a discount off these marked prices. Some of the choice of seafood include Tiger Prawns, King Prawns, mud crab, stingray and a variety of fish.

Newton Circus Food Centre Singapore

Newton Circus is very much a tourist area so the prices for the food is so much higher than the other Hawker centres where Singaporean's eat. If you want to try the real thing then check out the Hawker Centre on 6th Avenue Singapore. It's only small though has a great selection of cuisine and the prices are the cheapest you'll find anywhere. 6th Avenue is around 15 minutes by taxi from Singapore's city centre or you can catch a bus down Bukit Timah Rd and get off at the corner of 6th Avenue.
